In order to service the leaf spring, raise the vehicle, remove the axle weight, and loosen U-bolts and spring plate, as well as remove the wheel. Unscrew the spring and shackle and screw the new spring and shackle in. The process is to tighten all the bolts and nuts, fit the wheel back, and lower the vehicle.
