How to Service and Repair a Tie Rod End on 2003 Dodge Dakota?

To service the outer end of the tie rod, use a jam nut and remove the nut at the steering knuckle. Use Remover MB-991113 to detach the ball stud then unthread the tie rod end. Reinstall it, tightening the ball stud nut and jam nut to 81 N.m and 75 N.m respectively.
