How to Perform a Seat Switch Replacement for the Driver's Power Seat on 2003 Dodge Durango?

The first thing you should do is disconnect the battery negative cable to replace the driver power seat switch. Remove the side shield from the seat's cushion. Remove the switch bezel or side shield by tilting up the seat and access the switch wire harness connector, then gently push the locking tabs on the connector away from the switch module to remove it. Take out the screws that hold down the power seat switch. When installing, place the switch on the side shield of the seat cushion and link the power seat connector and then install the screws to keep the switch in place. Put back the shield that covers the cushion side of the car seat. If the recliner is included, put the lever on the recliner mechanism release shaft and fix it in place with the provided screw on the front seat. Before you finish, attach the battery negative cable again.
