How to service the A/C Switch (heater control) on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

When maintaining the A/C heater control, it is required to disable the air bag system by unconnection of the negative cable of the battery. Unscrew the engine cover, unscrew the vacuum harness connector and remove the heater-A/C control. Re-fit the wire harness, screw it in place, and re-fit parts, and finally restore the battery.
