2003 Dodge Ram 2500 MAP Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install a MAP Sensor on 2003 Dodge Ram 2500?
A: This sensor which serves two functions, is found at the top of the intake manifold. First, make sure the area around the sensor is clean and afterward, pull the connector free from the IAT/MAP sensor. Using two T-15 Torx screws, take off the screws and remove the sensor located in the intake manifold. Review the O-ring on the filter's sensor housing carefully. Before installing anything, make sure the sensor's O-ring is good and remove dirt from the area around the sensor at the intake manifold. Attach the sensor into the correct spot in the intake manifold, tighten the two screws and connect the electrical cable to the sensor.
