How to Service and Repair a Rack and Pinion with Independent Front Suspension on 2003 Dodge Ram 2500?

In order to fix the rack and pinion, lock the steering wheel, empty the power steering fluid and lift the vehicle. Take the steering coupler, hoses, tire and the tie rod ends out. Removal of rack and pinion, inspection of bushings and connecting the new unit. Rebuild and re-fill system with fluid.
