2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Sway Bar Bushing Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Rear Sway Bar Bushing on 2003 Dodge Ram 3500?
A: Start by getting rid of the spring when servicing and repairing the rear sway bar bushing. Gently remove the metal from the inside of the bushings by first cutting and bending the flared metal with no holes. Place the spring eye in a press and push on it with the right size driver to push the bushing out. To install the new bushing, push it into the eye of the spring with the same driver, so that it stays in the center. Use six points to drive the outer ring of the bushing into the vehicle and then resume installation of the spring.
