How to Replace a Washer Pump on 2003 Dodge Stratus?

Start by cutting the negative cable that links to your battery's remote terminal before trying to change your windshield washer reservoir pump. Take off some of the bumper fascia where needed to expose the reservoir pump. Put a drain bucket beneath the reservoir to prevent any washer solvent from spilling out. Hold the pump in hand, twist it around and then pull it away from and outside of the grommet without touching or hurting the reservoir. Pull the rubber grommet from the reservoir and throw it away. A replacement grommet must be fitted during installation. Ensure the grommet is not torn by grabbing the pump in hand, twisting it and pushing it straightly into the reservoir. If any of the fascia is gone, put it back on as soon as possible. Fill the washing solvent container and then plug in the negative remote cable to the battery.
