Start by unplugging the battery's negative remote wire. Pull part of the bumper fascia away so you can reach the reservoir pump and place a bucket under the reservoir where any washer solvent might leak. Get a good grip on the pump, twist it and gently pull it both out of the grommet and away from the reservoir. Take off and throw away the rubber grommet on the reservoir. When putting in the pump, always use a new grommet so you can grip it and rotate while inserting it into the reservoir, making sure you do not scratch or puncture it. If your access to the fascia is limited, replace it as you should. Put washer solvent into the reservoir and then reattach the battery negative remote cable.
