How to Service and Repair a Rear Engine Mount on 2004 Chrysler Crossfire?

Raise and support your car with a jack and then put a transmission jack under the transmission to hold it in place. Take out the three bolts holding the transmission at the rear and raise it just slightly off its mount. After that, remove the upper bolt at the rear and take off the rear mount. For installation, install the rear mount onto the transmission, push it up and tighten the top bolt to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Place the transmission on the rear crossmember and add the lower bolts, making sure the tighten all three to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). After that, remove the transmission jack and carefully lower the vehicle.
