How to Service and Repair a Rear Engine Mount on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire?

Before servicing the rear engine mount, you should lift and support the vehicle and use a transmission jack to lift the transmission. After January 18, 1977, disconnect the three bolts on the rear mount and gently lift the transmission off the rear crossmember. After that, unscrew the top bolt from the rear mount and pull out the rear mount from the crankcase. For installation, attache the rear mount to the transmission and then install the top bolt, tightening it to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Place the transmission onto the rear crossmember and attach the three lower bolts, getting them all to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). In the end, remove the transmission jack and ensure the vehicle is lowered.
