How to Service and Repair the Left Engine Mount on 2004 Chrysler Sebring?

Before servicing the left engine mount, first take out the negative battery cable. You will need to take out the throttle body air inlet hose and the air cleaner housing assembly. After that, undo the two nuts joining the speed control servo bracket to the left shock tower and adjust where you want the servo to be. Raise the mount with a floor jack and wooden block before undoing the three vertical bolts that connect it to the transmission bracket. Drop the transmission a little from the floor jack and disconnect the mount fasteners to the frame rail prior to removing the mount. For fixing the mount, attach it to the frame rail with step 2 fasteners, using a torque wrench on each of the 8 screws until you get 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.). Place the transmission back into position with the jack and use torque of 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) to put in three vertical bolts in the mount to the transmission bracket. After removing the floor jack and block, screw the speed control servo onto the left shock tower and tighten all fasteners to 6.7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). After that, mount the throttle body air inlet hose and air cleaner housing back in place and reattach the negative battery cable.
