2004 Dodge Dakota Power Steering Cooler Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service a Power Steering Cooler on 2004 Dodge Dakota?
A: Begin by siphoning the power steering system and afterward, take off the return hose connecting it to the pump. After that, raise the car and remove the end of the return hose from the cooler. Take out the cooler mounting nut and bolt first, then follow with the cooler. Before putting on anything else, attach the cooler with the mounting nut and bolt. Connect the return hose to the cooler, raise the vehicle when it's removed from support, then plug in the hose at the pump and you can resume filling your power steering.
