How to Service and Repair a Seat Motor for Front Tilt on 2004 Dodge Durango?

It is important to first take out the battery cable from the negative terminal to service or repair the front tilt motor. Take the seat with the broken motor, then the seat cushion and lastly the seat pan. Unplug the motor's electrical connector and remove the bolts holding the motor to the seat and then pull the motor out from the seat. Place the motor on the seat adjuster, secure it using the fasteners and you're done. Attach the motor's electrical connector, fit the seat cushion back in place and clip the wire harness to the cushion pan. Then, assemble the seat, reattach the battery's negative cable and check if the system and car are working properly.
