How to Service and Repair a Seat Motor for Rear Tilt on 2005 Dodge Durango?

The first step in maintaining the rear tilt motor is to turn off the negative battery cable and isolate it. Remove the seat that includes the motor that doesn't work, along with the seat cushion and pan. Take the motor (3) electrical connector off and remove all the fasteners that keep the motor (3) to the seat adjuster (1). When that's done, lift out the motor (3) from the seat adjuster (1). During installation, place the motor (3) onto seat adjuster (2) and attach the fasteners (1) so the motor is fastened to the seat adjuster. Attach the electrical connector from the motor to the seat, add the seat cushion and fasten the wire harness to the cushion pan. Now, replace the seat assembly and connect the battery negative cable. Remember to check that the vehicle responds well to commands.
