How to Service and Repair a Brake Light Switch on 2004 Dodge Ram 3500?

The brake light switch is repairable by disconnection of the harness, then holding the brake pedal and turning the switch counterclockwise to get it out. Installation requires alignment of the new switch, inserting the switch and rotating it clockwise. Connect the harness, press the pedal and lock the switch plunger.
