How to Service and Repair a Trunk Lid Latch on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To install the trunk latch, take off the insulator pad of the lift gate and disassemble the three bolts that hold the latch. Latch and cable housing- Removal of the latch and cable housing, disconnection of the latch cable. To install, re-installation of latch cable, re-install latch, step tight with bolts and correct timing before replacing insulator pad.
