To service the rear door check, remove the waterdam, then unscrew the door check from the b-pillar and remove the nuts securing it to the door. Remove it through the speaker hole. For installation, reverse the process, tightening nuts to 11 N.m and screws to 15 N.m, then reinstall the waterdam.
