How to Remove and Install a Canister Purge Valve on 2004 Jeep Wrangler?

You will find the duty cycle EVAP canister purge valve just before the front of the brake master cylinder in the engine compartment; it's held in place with a slip-on bracket and the EVAP System Test Port is near it. First you need to unplug the electrical wiring connector and then separate the vacuum lines and hoses from the valve. After that, raise the valve and its rubber support together from the mounting bracket. When you install, put the purge valve and rubber support back onto the bracket and reattach the vacuum harness and wiring connection.
