A valve for the EVAP canister purge duty cycle is mounted on the engine compartment, near the EVAP canister bracket. To start, cut the electrical connector to the valve from the wires and then disconnect the vacuum systems and hoses from the valve. After that, remove the valve and rubber valve support from the mounting bracket. After removal, place the purge valve and rubber support back into their proper place on the mounting bracket and secure the vacuum harness connector.
