How to Locate, Remove, and Install a Fuel Level Sensor and Float Assembly on 2004 Jeep Wrangler?

You'll find the fuel level sensor and float assembly near the side of the fuel pump inside the fuel tank. You should start by taking out the fuel tank, then remove the fuel pump module. Press on the release tab on the fuel level sensor and detach the sensor by taking out the electrical wire connector plugged to its terminals. To set up the kit, put the fuel level sensor on the pump module, push it into place, join the electrical connector to the terminals, add back the fuel pump module, then add the fuel tank.
