How to Safely Service the Heater Core with an Active Airbag System on 2004 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to service the heater core, turn off the air bag system by disconnection of battery negative cable and waiting two minutes. Take out and remove the HVAC housing to reach the core of heater. Unscrew it and then replace the new core, reassemble the housing and then replace it in the car.
