How to Service and Repair an Exhaust Heat Shield for Front on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire?

Before working on the front heat shield, first take off the front exhaust section. Then, removing the nuts from the heat shield (1) and the heat shield itself. Lay the heat shield on the floor pan and install the eight heat shield nuts (1). Screw them in with a 10 Nm (89 inch lb.) torque. Also, reinstall the front part of your exhaust, start the engine and see if there are any signs of leaks.
