How to Service and Repair a Tail Light on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire?

The first step to servicing a tail/stop lamp is to disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the access panel after you open the cargo area interior trim panel. Turn the tail/stop lamp socket 2 2 times counterclockwise and remove it from the tail lamp unit 1. When it's out, remove the bulb from the tail/stop lamp socket 2. Place the tail/stop lamp socket 1 onto the bulb 2 and insert them both into the tail lamp unit 3, then twist clockwise to lock the socket. After that, install the access panel inside the buckle and plug the negative battery cable back into its place.
