How to Upgrade Your Car Speakers on 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

First, detach and isolate the battery negative cable before you replace the rear speaker. After that, pop off the D-pillar trim and unscrew the speaker fasteners. Taking care, pull the speaker out of the vehicle and unplug the wire harness connector. Join the wire harness connector to the speaker first, then arm the speaker with its screws and adjust them to 2 Nm (24 in. lbs.). After that, install the D-pillar trim and secure the battery negative cable.
