Before working on the rear speaker in a convertible, first remove and isolate the battery negative cable. After that, pull out the quarter trim panel, release the mounting fasteners and cut any power cords connected to the speaker. To install, first link the electrical harness connector and then set up the speaker, after that install and tighten the mounting fasteners. After that, put the quarter trim panel back in place and connect the negative side of the battery.
