  A: Start by placing the folding top in the raised and locked position and afterwards, remove the negative battery cable. Take the well liner/carpet out of the folding top well and also remove the quarter trim panels from the rear. Be sure to mark the outer edge of the shelf seat brackets so they can be correctly installed again. The seat back supports can be uninstalled, together with the foam cover for the motor or hydraulic pump. Release the six cable tie straps, three for each side and use the three on the left side to separate the wire harness. After removing the two motor/hydraulic pump nuts and nuts/bolts per cylinder, lift the hydraulic cylinders off the main pivot brackets. You should first unplug the relay and motor connectors before getting rid of the motor/hydraulic pump from your vehicle. Place the motor/hydraulic pump assembly in the car and join the motor and relay connectors.
