How to Service and Repair an Engine Mount on 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Part of servicing and fixing an engine mount is to remove the engine to provide the required space. Making sure the engine is positioned properly, write its location on the body frame rail in marker ink, as a little extra space is needed in the right engine attaching holes due to manufacturing and they need to be aligned correctly for proper powertrain position. Subsequently, take away the screws connecting the mount to the body and take out the mount. To fix the mount in place, put it back at its previous spot on the body frame rail. If no mark was placed previously or the frame rail is new, set a new engine mount in the rail just for now, adjust it to be lined up with the mating holes on the rail and mark the position of the engine mount as you line everything up. When the mount is back on its original spot, fit the mounting bolts and torque them to 28 Nm (250 inch lbs.). The next part is to put the engine assembly back into the vehicle.
