  A: First, take away the air cleaner lid and later unplug the makeup air hose and then disconnect the negative battery cable to fix and service the fuel filler neck. Unscrew the cap on the fuel filler tube and remove both fuel filler neck screws. Support the vehicle and then take out the right rear wheel, as well as the rear half of the inner splash shield. If the tank is more than half filled, empty it. Remove the hose from the fuel tank neck where it meets the fuel filler tube and take out the fuel filler tube assembly. To install, put in the fuel filler tube first, attach the tube's hose to the neck of the tank and tighten the clamp to 4.1 Nm (38 in. lbs.). Put the back half of the inner splash shield in place, lower the vehicle and tighten the fuel filler neck screws to 2.7 Nm (24 in. lbs.). After that, replace the cap on the fuel filler tube, put the negative battery cable back and place the air cleaner lid and makeup air hose in place.
