How to Safely Service the Air Bag Control Module on 2005 Chrysler Sebring?

In order to service the Air Bag Control Module, disconnection of battery negative cable and waiting a period of 2 minutes are required. Take out the shifter knob and console screws and the ORC. Install again the ORC with proper adjustment and tightening. Assemble console and shifter without reconnecting battery until air bag testing is done to avoid injury.
