Before beginning, unhook the negative
Battery Cable and wait two minutes because there is a capacitor inside. To work on a car with manual transmission, pull out the shifter knob and remove the shifter boot, but for automatic transmission, just pull the knob and unsnap the bezel around the shift indicator. After that, pull off the four screws from the console at the floor and the parking brake lever and take out the three nuts that hold the ORM in place. With the cable harness connectors disconnected, lift the ORC away from the studs that hold it in position. When you mount the ORC, make sure the battery is off, put the ORC with the arrow forward on the center tunnel area studs and link the wire harness connector. Connect the three mounting nuts and tighten them to a torque of 10 to 14 Nm (85 to 125 in lbs.). Fit back the parking brake, the floor console and the screws onto the floor. When you have an automatic transmission, fit the shift indicator bezel and shifter knob or for a manual transmission, fit the shifter boot and knob. The negative cable on the battery should not be connected to the remote terminal before performing the required air bag system checks.
