2005 Chrysler Sebring Speed Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a 41TE Transaxle Speed Sensor for Output on 2005 Chrysler Sebring?
A: When servicing the output speed sensor on a 41TE transaxle, detach the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle up on a hoist first. After that, remove the connection from the output speed sensor and disassemble the sensor for removal. Look at the O-ring on the speed sensor and change it if it needs to be replaced. Align the O-ring, attach the sensor and turn to a tightening torque of 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). After that, reattach the speed sensor connector and connect the negative battery cable.
