2005 Dodge Caravan Steering Column Cover Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install a Steering Column Cover on 2005 Dodge Caravan?
A: With a trim stick, gently ease the right edge back from the steering cover to take it off the belt loops on the lower panel. Then, pull the cover toward the rear of the car to remove the spring clips attached to it. After that, unscrew the three screws holding the end cap to the instrument panel and pull the end cap out to remove the spring clips and take it out of the vehicle. To set up, insert the end cap and fit the spring clips within the loops on either end. Attach where the lower flat end of the lower steering column cover meets first, make sure the locating ribs are inside the left end cap, then move it to the right and line up the belt loops in the instrument lower right panel. Following the rest of the steps, fit the lower steering column cover in position, push the spring clips into the slots and attach the cover to the instrument panel with the two screws.
