How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2005 Dodge Magnum?

In order to service the ambient temperature sensor, disconnect the negative battery cable and lift up the car. Remove splash shields, unhook the wire harness from the sensor and remove the sensor. For installation, mount the new sensor, reconnect harness, reinstall the splash shields, lower the vehicle and reconnect the battery cable.
