  A: Open the access panel which is either the cover above the throttle cable or the engine cover, before starting the service. Tie back the cable, free it from the throttle body cam and slide the cable out of the engine bracket while lifting its holding tabs. In the car, keep the throttle pedal up while you remove the cable holder and the cable from the top of the shaft where the cable hooks on. Then, pull out the retainer from the throttle cable and grommet at the panel near the dash, then slide both the cable and grommet out from the dash through the engine compartment. To install, put the grommet first into the opening in your dashboard. From the engine area, fit the end of the housing into the grommet in the dash panel. Pull the throttle lever all the way back to the open position and set the cable clasp. Install the housing for the throttle cable on the engine's bracket and slip the throttle cable cover back over it. Once you are inside the vehicle, press the pedal up and then guide the throttle wooden wire through the upper side of the pedal shaft. Attach the retainer and its clip afterward.
