Begin by taking apart the assembly which includes removing the air cleaner/
Throttle Body after first disconnecting the PPS and crankcase vent hose from the throttle body and afterward detaching the TPS and IAC connectors. After that, disconnect the air duct from the throttle body at the
Intake Manifold, remove the mounting bolt and nut and take out the air cleaner assembly, leaving the cables attached and making a note of their placement to avoid binding afterward. Take the throttle valve cable off the air cleaner/throttle body and from the lever on the transaxle, detaching it from the bracket. To install the throttle valve, lead the cable so that it can move smoothly and then connect the bracket to the cable and lever. Press the throttle valve cable onto the air cleaner/throttle body assembly, position the assembly so its air cleaner locating slot is on the battery bracket tab and tighten the fasteners to 14 Nm (120 inch lbs.) torque. Make sure the throttle body duct is fitted snugly to the intake manifold and torque the clamp down to 5 Nm (40 inch lbs.). Link the TPS and IAC connectors and then join the PPS and the hose going to the crankcase. Last, install the battery negative cable, do the Throttle Valve Cable Adjustment Procedure and check the transaxle operation while driving.
