- Q: How to Service and Repair a Blower Motor in the Rear Distribution System on 2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500?A: Before handling the rear blower motor, detach and isolate the negative cable from the battery and then open the cover of the rear evaporator. Take the wire harness connectors away from the rear blower motor suppression filter and from the rear blower motor that is being serviced and get out the suppression filter. Now, take off the body sealer at the rear blower motor and remove all screws attaching each motor to the housing, before animportantly, taking out the blower motors. Put the rear blower motor behind the A/C evaporator housing and screw it on rigidly while using 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.) of torque. Put on a new body sealant bead to the blower motor, place the suppression filter in the rear motor area and be sure to attach the wiring connectors to both the filter and the rear blower motor. After that, fit the rear A/C cover onto the evaporator housing and reattach the negative battery cable.
