How to Maintain a Blower Motor on 2004 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

Before beginning on the motor, unhook the negative battery cable, pull out the air cleaner cover and arrange the insulation blanket so it won't block the blower motor. Then, before unscrewing anything, pull the wire harness off the blower, remove the three screws holding the blower in place and lift the blower motor assembly from the housing. When installing, put the blower motor assembly into the ventilation housing and ensure it is still by using the three retaining screws, tightening them to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). After wiring the harness, link the connector to the blower motor, cover the vent with its insulation blanket, snap on the engine air cleaner cover and then reattach the negative battery cable.
