How to Service an Ignition Coil in a 4-Cylinder Engine on 2005 Dodge Stratus?

Before service on the ignition coil for a 4-cylinder engine, remove the negative battery cable. After that, take the electrical connector away from the coil pack and pull off the spark plug cables, twisting them as you go. Once that's done, loosen the bolts circling the coil and remove the coil pack from its housing. When installing, set the new coil pack onto the valve cover and connect it by hand tightening the bolts to 11.8 Nm (105 in. lbs.). Gently push the electrical connector in and match the spark plug cables to the same cylinder number towers in the new coil pack.
