How to Service and Repair a Brake Light Switch on 2005 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to fix the brake light switch, one must take off the steering column cover and lower trim panel. Turn the switch 30 degrees anti clockwise and take it out. Unattach the harness then attach the new switch by lengthening the plunger, attaching the harness and attaching it by turning it clockwise. The plunger is adjusted by releasing the brake pedal.
