How to Service Rear Coil Springs on 2005 Jeep Wrangler?

Before servicing the rear coil spring, raise and support the vehicle and then set the hydraulic jack underneath the axle. Remove the links between the stabilizer bar and axle brackets, take off the links between the shock absorbers and axle brackets and disconnect the track bar from the frame rail bracket. Droop the axle to pull the spring away from the bolts on top and then remove it. Position the coil spring already on the axle pad isolator so that the axle bottom touches the pad, then slowly raise the axle until the spring sits on top of the upper isolator. Rebond the stabilizer bar links and shock absorbers to the axle bracket and attach the track bar to the frame rail bracket. Once the supports are removed, put the vehicle back on the ground and tighten the stabilizer bar, shock absorber and track bar to their correct torque.
