How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2006 Chrysler 300?

In order to maintain the ambient air temperature sensor, remove the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle. Disconnect the wire harness and sensor of the sensor, take out sensor. Install a new sensor, reconnect the harness, splash shields, lower the vehicle and reconnect the battery cable.
