How to Maintain a Starter Motor on 2006 Chrysler 300?

In order to service the starter motor, un-hook the negative battery cable, lock steering wheel; and lift the car. Take out the splash shield and starter assembly. Install the new starter, making sure that it is properly aligned and that there are bolts in place. Install the splash shield again, drop the car, and attach the battery cable.
