How to Service and Repair a Heater Control Valve on 2006 Chrysler Crossfire?

To service the heater control valve it is important to have the coolant temperature below 90degC. Relieve pressure by first slowly opening the radiator cap then remove the heat shield. Remove the hoses and the electrical connector, and remove the valve. Reinstall in reverse order, making sure that all connections are secure and the system is topped off.
