How to Maintain and Fix a Liftgate Hinge on 2006 Chrysler Crossfire?

The first step to working on the trunk or liftgate hinge is to take out the liftgate. After that, remove the remaining two bolts (1) on the hinges and free the hinges from the liftgate. For installing the hinges, set them up alongside the dots in the paint on the liftgate and fasten them with the two bolts (1), tightening them up to 25 N.m (18 ft.lbs). Once all is running smoothly, reinstall the liftgate.
