  A: First, unlock the liftgate and next pull the negative battery cable off after opening the hood. After opening the liftgate, take out the prop rod for the liftgate power and remove the trim panel. Now, take off the four nuts on the retainer for the spoiler, lift it up from the outer liftgate panel, unplug the Chmsl electrical connector and unhook the washer hose. If you are replacing the spoiler, mount the Chmsl lamp and washer nozzle onto the replacement basic spoiler. When positioning the new spoiler, fit it to the outer liftgate panel, join the washer hose and Chmsl electrical connector, attach and fasten the bolts in the holes and secure the spoiler with the middle fastener. Fit all four retaining nuts, hook the liftgate trim panel in place again, connect the power liftgate prop rod, lower the liftgate and rehook the battery negative cable. After that, make sure all is working and properly close the hood.
