How to Service and Repair a Left Engine Mount on 2006 Chrysler Sebring?

The first step for servicing the left engine mount is to remove the negative battery cable. Pull out the throttle body air inlet hose and the air cleaner housing assembly, then detach the two nuts that attach the speed control servo bracket to the left shock tower and place the servo back in a new position. To remove the mount, lift it on a jack and use a wooden block, then take out the three vertical bolts on the bracket. Set the jack just under the transaxle and unfasten the bolts connecting the mount to the frame rail before disconnecting the mount. Place the mount on the frame rail and fix it in place with the associated fasteners, using a torque of 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.) Bring the transmission back and use the three vertical bolts in the mount to fasten it to the transmission bracket, tightening them all to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Take out the floor jack and block and mount the speed control servo back onto the left shock tower, tightening its fasteners to 6.7 Nm (60 inch lbs.). Once finished, reattach the throttle body and inlet hose, put back in the air cleaner housing and hook the negative battery cable back up.
