2006 Chrysler Sebring Washer Pump Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Washer Pump on 2006 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Unhook the negative remote cable from the battery before dealing with the windshield washer pump. Carefully remove a small part of the bumper facia to get to the reservoir pump and then lay a bucket beneath the reservoir if fluids should leak from there. Squeeze the pump tightly, turn it and then draw it out of the reservoir through the grommet, making sure not to prick the reservoir. Take out and throw away the rubber grommet included with the reservoir. Make sure to purchase a new grommet; while firmly holding the pump and turning it, push it into the reservoir, so as not to damage it. In case you did not totally remove the fascia, reinstall it where required. Put more washer solvent in the reservoir and then connect the battery negative remote cable as before.
