How to Maintain and Fix a Door Handle on the Rear Exterior on 2006 Dodge Durango?

Before working on the rear door exterior handle, you should remove the watershield. After that, unlink the latch and also remove the handle (1) and the nut (4) from the system. During installation, place (1) the handle in the door and add the nuts (4), but do not tighten them more than 5 N.m (45 in.lbs.). After finishing that step, restart the connection and reinstall the water shield.
