How to Remove and Install a Timing Cover on 2006 Dodge Magnum?

To take off the timing chain cover, disconnect the negative battery cable, empty the cooling system and remove the coolant container. Remove the splash shield, accessory drive belts and crankshaft damper. On removing the cover, clean surfaces, apply RTV, and put components back in place tightening bolts to torque specification. Refill the cooling system and reconnect the battery.
